1. Introduction​

Odyssey (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an intelligent travel app that helps users automatically track and organize their trips in a shareable format. Our services include personalized travel recommendations, itinerary management, and community-driven insights to enhance your travel experience. By using our app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Odyssey mobile application ("App"), you (“user”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

 

3. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Odyssey is intended for use by individuals residing in the United States. We do not guarantee compliance with laws outside the United States, and we are not responsible for users outside this jurisdiction. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk.

4. App Usage

• Tracking Settings: To utilize the App's features, you must set your device's location tracking to "Always On." This setting allows the App to function as intended.

• Trip Activation: The App will only track and save your location data when you manually enable a trip. You have full control over when to start and stop tracking within the App. The app will not save any data if you do not enable a trip.

• Geo Location: When you manually enable a trip, you are allowing and agreeing with us to use your location data to provide the basic features of Odyssey. 

 

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Users agree not to:

• Misuse, manipulate, or falsify location data.

• Engage in harassment, stalking, fraud, or any illegal activities using the app.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the app’s technology.

• Use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes, including selling or distributing data obtained from Odyssey.

• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights while using the app.

 

Violations of these terms may result in account suspension, permanent bans, and legal action where applicable.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Odyssey and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App itself.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Odyssey makes no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the App's operation or the information, content, or materials included. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Odyssey disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not responsible for any damages, including data loss, system failures, or financial losses, arising from app usage.

• ​​No Guarantees – The app is provided "as is," meaning the company does not guarantee that it will always work perfectly, be bug-free, or meet your expectations.

• No Promises on Content – Odyssey does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the information, content, or materials within the app.

• Limited Liability – If something goes wrong while using the app—like data loss, errors, or other issues—Odyssey is not responsible for any damages or consequences.

• Legal Protection – This disclaimer helps protect Odyssey from legal claims by stating that users assume the risks of using the app.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
