Welcome to Odyssey, a travel memory app designed to help you track, share, and relive your journeys. We’re all here because we love travel and want to create a positive space to capture and celebrate those experiences. To keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these guidelines.
Respect Each Other
It’s simple: treat others how you want to be treated. This means engaging with kindness, respecting others’ experiences, and keeping interactions positive. Whether you’re sharing a travel story, commenting on someone’s trip, or collaborating on an itinerary, always be mindful of your words and actions.
Inspire Trust
Your profile should accurately represent you, with a clear name and profile picture. Be honest when sharing your travel experiences and recommendations. Do not impersonate others, create fake accounts, or mislead users about your identity or travels.
Share Responsibly
Odyssey is a space to document and share your trips, but be mindful of what you post. Avoid sharing private or sensitive location details that could put you or others at risk. If you’re posting about a trip with other people, ensure you have their consent before tagging or mentioning them.
Keep It Civil
Disagreements happen, but they should always remain respectful. Do not harass, threaten, or engage in bullying behavior toward others. Negative interactions, hate speech, or personal attacks will not be tolerated. Let’s keep this a positive and welcoming space for all travelers and users.
How NOT to Use the App
🚫 No Stalking or Unwanted Following – Do not use Odyssey to track or monitor someone without their consent. If a user feels uncomfortable with another’s actions, they should report the behavior immediately.
🚫 No Dangerous Activities – Do not encourage reckless, illegal, or unsafe travel practices. This includes trespassing, breaking local laws, or engaging in high-risk activities without proper precautions.
🚫 No Misuse of Location Data – Odyssey helps you track your trips, but it should never be used for unauthorized monitoring of others. You have full control over when and how your location is tracked—respect others' privacy in the same way.
🚫 No Reverse Engineering or Exploiting the App – Do not attempt to manipulate, alter, or misuse the app’s technology. Any attempts to hack, scrape data, or abuse the system will result in account suspension and potential legal action.
Obey the Law
When using Odyssey, ensure you’re following all applicable travel regulations, local laws, and customs. If you’re visiting a new destination, familiarize yourself with local guidelines to ensure a respectful and lawful experience.
